This is an excerpt of my novel, Sweden. It is about a kid that gets invited to the Gothia Cup in Sweden.
Excerpt:
Chapter 1:The Invitation
One day there was a kid named Logan.He got home from school like any
normal day.He ate his ordinary dinner before soccer practice.Tonight is the
best soccer night because he does private training with his Coach Serge and a
kids named Aidan.To the soccer field was about a 15 minute drive his mom would
tell me but i would always like to leave early because i like to play with
Aidan.When we are in the car i play my Ipod,i play Plant es vs. Zombies.When
we got there me and Aidan played world cup I was Chelsea and Aidan is
Manchester City I score the most.My nickname is Logster and Aidan’s is
Aidan.It’s fun we heart racing drills and 1V1s Even thought i beat him almost
every time.when practice is over we went to the car when we were leaving Serge
stoped us and asked us to go to Sweden.I was so excited Serge said he was
going to start inviting me to tournaments and games.Aidan wasn’t asked to come
to Sweden and tournaments.But it was next summer which really stunk.
Sounds like a great story I love to play soccer! I like how you wrote suprisingly that he was asked to go to Sweden right after a normal soccer practice! How many chapters are there? Nice job with the first chapter, I want to read more!
